Company History
Oriheal Lifesciences was established on June 15th, 2011, by Dr. Vishal Sharma, a practicing veterinarian in Delhi with over 20 years of experience in small animal practice. The genesis of the company traces back to Dr. Sharma’s personal health journey. In 2006, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, experiencing persistent pain and undergoing treatment until 2010. After encountering various medical professionals and hospitals without finding a conclusive diagnosis, Dr. Sharma sought alternative treatment from a renowned herbal therapist in 2010. This transformative experience led Dr. Sharma to realize the potential of herbal remedies in treating animals, inspiring him to establish Oriheal Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as Orione Animal Care Pvt. Ltd.
Journey
The company embarked on its journey with the launch of its first herbal and grooming products for pets in October 2013, following extensive research and collaboration with Ayurveda experts. Dr. Sharma encountered challenges in establishing the company due to the skepticism surrounding herbal medicines for pets at the time. However, in 2017, the effectiveness of Oriheal’s product, Ultramax, in enhancing platelet count was recognized in a research study conducted by Dr. Mukesh Shrivastav at DUVASU Mathura. This acknowledgment marked a turning point for Dr. Sharma and reinforced his confidence in his vision.
Subsequently, Oriheal expanded its product line with the introduction of additional herbal remedies such as Dermapure, Cough Cure Vet, and Pet Pirexo Calm. In 2019, the company forged partnerships in herbal manufacturing, leading to a rebranding as Oriheal Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., symbolizing the “Beginning of Healing.”
Innovations
Oriheal Lifesciences prioritizes innovation in its product offerings. All herbal medicines are formulated uniquely, ensuring safety and efficacy. Notably, Oriheal introduced sugar-free medications for pets for the first time in India, considering unidentified diabetic patients in Pet Industry. The company’s pharmaceutical drug range addresses the unmet needs of veterinarians, offering solutions previously unavailable in the Indian market. Oriheal’s commitment to providing correct dosage forms aligns with its mission to enhance veterinary practice standards.
Initiatives for Industry
In 2022, Oriheal launched “By A Vet, For The VETS,” an online education community aimed at empowering veterinarians through webinars on diverse topics. This initiative facilitates knowledge exchange and professional development within the veterinary community. Additionally, Oriheal offers self-sponsorship plans for veterinarians seeking higher education and investments in veterinary equipment, fostering excellence in small animal practice in India.

Presently, Oriheal Lifesciences boasts a vast portfolio of over 125 products and is experiencing rapid growth annually & aims to go global in 2024. The company aspires to lead the industry by empowering veterinarians, advancing pet healthcare, and ensuring accessibility to high-quality, affordable medicines and products for pets and pet parents alike.
